Since June 2024, we have been implementing a unique project aimed at supporting Roma women and girls and IDP women in Ukraine. During this time:
Over 1,300 women and girls have become our direct beneficiaries;
6,800 people have become indirect beneficiaries and received assistance through our activities.
As part of the project:
- Trainings were conducted for Roma women and girls;
- Individual psychological consultations were provided;
- Humanitarian aid was transferred: food and hygiene kits, as well as firewood.
In 2025, we are not stopping! Ahead:
- Development of a manual for organizations working with the Roma population;
- Creation of new educational opportunities and further humanitarian support.
The main goal of the project:
Supporting Roma women and girls and IDP women through the development of their educational, legal and social opportunities, raising awareness and leadership potential.
What do we aim to achieve?
- Strengthen the participation of women and girls in decision-making in humanitarian and social spheres;
- Ensure access to education, legal and humanitarian assistance;
- Promote the integration of Roma women and girls into communities, increasing their level of awareness and self-confidence.
We believe that every woman and girl deserves support and equal opportunities. And thanks to cooperation with international partners, we will be able to change the lives of Roma women and girls and IDP women for the better!
