Group and individual classes with a speech therapist: new opportunities for children

As part of the project “Early Development of Roma Children and Work with Parents: Education, Support and Integration”, we conduct group and individual classes with a speech therapist. This work is already yielding first results, helping children develop speech, self-confidence and open up new opportunities for integration into society.

A speech therapist approaches each child with love and understanding of their needs:

  • In individual classes, the child receives maximum attention and support, which allows them to solve complex speech issues.
  • Group classes create an atmosphere of trust and communication, where children learn to interact, developing not only speech, but also social skills.

Each class includes game exercises, developing articulation, working on correct pronunciation and increasing vocabulary.

This is just the beginning, and we can already see how these classes are changing the lives of children and their families. We continue to work so that every child has a chance for a happy future.

The program is implemented by the NEEKA Carpathian Region Non-Governmental Organization with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through KfW.
