The Transcarpathian Regional Charitable Foundation “Blago”, with the support of UN Women in Ukraine and funding from the UN Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF), held a presentation of the methodological manual “Different Together”

Today, we witnessed an incredibly important event! 🎉

As part of a project organized by the Zakarpattia Regional Charity Fund “Blago,” with the support of UN Women in Ukraine and funding from the UN Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF), we held the much-anticipated presentation of the methodological guide “Different Together.”

📖 “Different Together” is a practical tool for creating inclusive educational programs that help Roma women gain knowledge, expand their opportunities, and confidently build their future. It includes exercises for self-esteem development, legal information, career advice, and methodological recommendations for trainers and activists working with communities.

📚 This guide is the result of our joint efforts, our belief in the power of inclusive education, and our desire to make the world more open to everyone. It was created to help women access more opportunities, discover new horizons, and believe in themselves.

👥 The event was attended by representatives of the Departments of Social Protection of the Zakarpattia Regional Military Administration, Uzhhorod City Council, educational and cultural institutions, public organizations, journalists, and all those who care about equal opportunities.

📌 The Blago project covered Odesa, Zolotonosha (Cherkasy region), and three communities in the Zakarpattia region: Uzhhorod, Berehove, and Serednie. In each of these places, we have seen how women’s attitudes toward education are changing, how they begin to realize their rights and opportunities, and how they discover new strength within themselves.

💬 Eleonora Kulchar, Director of the Zakarpattia Regional Charity Fund “Blago,” shared her impressions:

“In each of these places, we saw women’s interest in knowledge and self-development. We noticed how their attitude toward themselves changed, how they gained confidence in their abilities, began to understand their rights and opportunities, and developed faith in themselves.”

🎤 Asya Tsisar, the project’s education coordinator, presented the methodological guide “Different Together” and admitted:

“We honestly talk about all the challenges that have affected our work and share our experience so that those who use the guide can avoid our mistakes and do even more for the development of their communities.” 🙌

🏆 The event’s highlight was a special moment when Agnesa Kudron, Director of the Berehove Gymnasium “Opre Roma,” presented a letter of appreciation to the Blago team for their long-term and fruitful cooperation. She emphasized:

“Thanks to our collaboration, we have significantly increased school attendance among children and boosted parental engagement in education.” 📈🎓

🙏 Thank you to everyone who joined us! Together, we are making the world a better place! 💖🌟

The project is implemented by the Zakarpattia Regional Charity Fund “Blago” with technical support from UN Women in Ukraine and funding from the UN Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF), a flexible and rapid financing mechanism that supports quality initiatives to enhance local women’s capacity in conflict prevention, crisis response, and peacebuilding opportunities.
