As part of the celebration of International Roma Day, which annually reminds of the power of unity, mutual understanding and respect for diversity, the director of the ZOBF “Blago” Eleonora Kulchar was awarded the presidential award “For the Defense of Ukraine”!
⠀This important award was presented for her active work, tireless work and contribution to supporting the Roma community during the war. Eleonora Kulchar is an example of a strong leader who stands up for people’s rights every day, helps those in need, and continues to develop the culture and traditions of her people.
⠀The ceremony took place in the atrium of the Transcarpathian OVA with the participation of representatives of the authorities and the Roma community. They honored the memory of the fallen heroes, prayed for peace, sang the Roma anthem and held a traditional procession to the embankment of the Uzh River.
