As part of the project “Overcoming the Psychological Trauma of War Among Roma Children and IDP Children in Transcarpathia”, which is implemented by the Transcarpathian Regional Charitable Foundation “Blago” with the support of World Relief Ukraine, we held a warm and bright celebration for Children’s Day.
⠀The event took place in the shelter of the Zakarpattia Regional Charitable Foundation “Blago”, which became a home and a safe space for many families affected by the war.
⠀This was an opportunity to give children not only gifts, but also a piece of care, joy and a sense of security, which are so necessary in times of change and uncertainty.
30 children – Roma and internally displaced persons – received gifts and were able to forget about difficulties for a moment and just be children.
