Children’s Day is more than just a holiday.

Children’s Day is more than just a holiday. It is a reminder of our responsibility for every child, their safety, joy and faith in goodness.

⠀For the team of the Transcarpathian Regional Charitable Foundation “Blago”, this day was rich and full of emotions.

Over 90 children received gifts in the compact settlement on Telmana,

Over 40 children – in the Church of Jesus Christ on Radvanka,

And we also distributed gifts to IDP children in the shelter of the Transcarpathian Regional Music and Drama Theater, where children:

  • enjoyed the performances of animators,
  • received gifts,
  • and watched a wonderful theatrical performance.

“Caring for children is not only about the present. It is about the future. It is especially important to support Roma children, who are often overlooked by society. We must do everything to make every child feel wanted, important and protected,” says Eleonora Kulchar, founder of the Blago Charity Foundation.

We sincerely thank everyone who participated in the creation of the holiday.

We also thank the Edelweiss Charity Foundation

and Volodymyr Khymynets personally for their partnership and cooperation.

⠀Thanks to your support, even more children received a holiday, warmth and care today.

Together, we give children not just gifts – we give care, attention and faith in the best.

This was a really meaningful read. I like how the article reminds us that Children’s Day is not just about fun and celebration, but also about awareness and responsibility. It’s easy to forget that the day also highlights children’s rights and the challenges many of them still face around the world.

It makes the message feel deeper than just a holiday.

Curious, what do you think is the most important thing adults can do to support children beyond just celebrating this day?
