Last week, the director of the Blago Foundation, Eleonora Kulchar, had the opportunity to participate in the presentation of a new stage of the project “Voice of Women and Leadership”, which is implemented by the Ukrainian Women’s Fund with the support of the Government of Canada.
⠀The event, which took place on July 3, was dedicated not only to getting acquainted with the updated approaches of the program, but also to an open dialogue about the needs, challenges and prospects of the women’s movement in the regions.
⠀ They discussed what problems are most relevant today for women’s initiatives, organizations and activists, as well as what solutions are needed now.
⠀Key topics included:
Supporting the resilience of women and volunteers working in crisis
A variety of grant opportunities, including rapid response grants
An intersectional approach that addresses the needs of the most vulnerable groups of women and girls
Partnerships that can change the environment
⠀For our organization, participating in such meetings is an opportunity not only to convey the voice of our community, but also to hear other experiences, find common ground and ideas for joint actions.
